Greetings from Mr. Maguire’s class,
We have been very busy over the past few weeks. Last Friday we had our annual Sports Day where our boys team won the relay. Well done to the lads and all those who participated. On Wednesday May 14th, we had our school tour. We visited Croke Park and we learned much about the history of the stadium and about the GAA. Everybody really enjoyed the tour of the largest amateur stadium in the world!! We also went bowling in Tallaght Leisureplex.
At the moment we are working hard on our History projects which are based on finding out about the life of a parent or grandparent. We hope to complete these projects over the coming days.
As part of our Green Schools Campaign, children are walking to school as often as possible. Our class have a walked a total of 493km over the last four weeks! So we are flying fit at the moment!
Slán go fóill,

Hello, Dia Dhuit, Bonjour!
We have had a very busy year and alot more exciting things coming up. We had ten weeks of French with Madame Gogarty and a French day, where we dressed up and got to try French breads and cheeses. We made our Confirmation on the 1st of May, which was a wonderful day.
We also had Sports Day. Both our girls team won their relays. Go girls!!! On the 28th of May we are going on a trip to visit Collin’s Barracks which we are really looking forward to because we have done alot of work on Irish history this year.
After that, we are going on our school tour to Neptune which will be brilliant. The day after that we have Sports for all day which is always super. What a busy few weeks we have coming up!!! We’re just finished our Modern History projects which we will show you over the next few days.
Bye for now,
