It is the 4th and last Sunday in Advent and it is time to light the 4th candle.
The 4th candle on the Advent Wreath is purple in colour and it represents God’s love
for us. He showed His love for us by sending His Son to die on the cross to save us from our sins.

The annual school Carol Service will take place next Monday, December 21st, 2009.

The Afternoon service will begin at 1.30 p.m.
This service is for parents and children from the Junior school who cannot attend the evening service.

It is the 3rd Sunday in Advent already and Christmas is just around the corner. The candle for the 3rd Sunday in Advent is pink and it represents the Joy of the shepherds on hearing the news of Christ’s birth and the Joy that God brings into our everyday lives. Christians rejoice because the wait for Christ is nearly over.

Podcasting fever has gripped the 6th classes and they hope to produce several podcasts between now and the Christmas holidays.
The school radio will also spring back to life with festive offerings from the other standards throughout Advent.
